When people think of dangerous animals in Texas, a few different species come to mind. Snakes, wild boars or even angry birds. However, a squirrel seems to be terrorizing a Texas neighborhood. Squirrels are usually harmless creatures and tend to stay away from humans when they can. The squirrel in question has turned aggressive recently and has caused some residents to fear going outside and coming across it. It has bitten to women, both ended up in the hospital to get checked out. Residents say they have contacted the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and animal control to trap the squirrel.

December to February is squirrel hunting season in the state. One local hunter has offered tips and tricks to get the most out of hunting squirrels in Texas. Hunting and killing squirrels is only legal during this time of year in the state. Throughout the rest of the year, there are other laws and regulations on trapping and killing the animals.
